REFLECT COLLECTION
Designed to complement the EVOKE COLLECTION, REFLECT also finds its origins within the component designs of Art Deco radios. Celebrating the visual dynamics of solid and voided space, light interweaves with shadow within its metallic sculptural forms.
PROJECT CONCEPT | REFLECT 18
Referencing a variety of internal and external components from my extensive vacuum tube radio collection, REFLECT 18 reinterprets these elements via complex geometries realized in luxurious finishes.
- 1941 ZENITH Radio Grille: Recalling the expressive patterned form of an ornate ZENITH radio wood speaker cover, this fixture's sculpted blades redirect illumination throughout space.
- 1937 SPARTON SLED Radio Grille: Relating to a classic SPARTON radio, multi-level design compositions within this design combine and reflect materials emanating patterned light.
Representing the first expressions of my REFLECT Collection, the REFLECT 18 Sconce can be customized in infinite design variations.
Seen now in its initial iteration as a wall-mounted fixture, design study options illustrate the concept in various linear and circular installation combinations.
