EVOKE COLLECTION
Suspended in space, a variety of impressions result from EVOKE’s undulating illuminated geometries when viewed from various angles.
PROJECT CONCEPT | EVOKE 360
Referencing a variety of internal and external components from my extensive vacuum tube radio collection, EVOKE 360 reinterprets these elements within its syncopated circular form as a suspended illuminated sculpture.
- Radio Variable Tuning Capacitor: Main fixture geometry recalls light passing through the rotating blades of this antique radio component.
- 1937 MIDWEST Radio Dial: Like my favorite antique radio dial, radial slivers of light from this fixture form complex projected patterns.
- 1930's Radio Pushbutton Assembly: Seemingly in motion, the individual shades resemble a radio's rhythmic moving mechanical components.
Representing the first 2 expressions of my EVOKE Collection, the EVOKE 360 Chandelier and the EVOKE 180 Chandelier can be customized in infinite design variations.
Geometry from my BRYAN HAMLIN Trademark forms the basis of design for the ceiling canopy.
Circular and Elliptical configurations are options and have been studied in sizes ranging from 10’ – 0” in length to 20’ – 0” in length for Ballroom & Atrium installations.
These initial EVOKE 360 and EVOKE 180 chandeliers are horizontal configurations however, as depicted in the design study options, the concept can be realized in various vertical format installation combinations.
